Miracle Baby Appeals for Help to Settle Hospital Bill Days After Refusing President Ruto’s Assistance

Mugithi artist and former Sailor Gang member, Peter Miracle Baby, is  seeking assistance to settle his hospital bills following a successful fourth surgery.

The artist, known for his vibrant performances and catchy tunes, has been grappling with intestinal issues for several years, with his health struggles coming to the forefront once again.

Miracle Baby’s wife, Carol Katrue, recently spoke to Nairobi News, revealing that they are aiming to raise Sh 500,000 to cover the hospital expenses and facilitate their discharge.

Despite earlier support pledged by President William Ruto, they are currently relying on themselves and the generosity of supporters to manage the financial burden.

“We haven’t revealed the hospital’s details because his fans and our friends have been coming, which the doctors have discouraged for Peter’s well-being. We have been cleared for discharge but are still awaiting the necessary funds,” she said.

The journey of medical challenges for Miracle Baby dates back to 2018 when he first underwent surgery to address stomach complications. However, subsequent examinations revealed blockages, leading to additional surgeries.

It was discovered that another hospital had previously removed his appendix without proper repositioning of his organs, exacerbating his health issues.

“They couldn’t locate his appendix during the ultrasound, prompting a CT scan. It turned out another hospital had already removed his appendix. We had initially believed they removed the growth. Additionally, they hadn’t repositioned his organs properly,” Katrue explained.

The recent surgery marks Miracle Baby’s fourth within a short span, occurring just two and a half months after his third operation.
