Likoni Member of parliament Mishi Juma Mboko has retained her seat in the just concluded general election.

Mboko garnered 15,997 votes to secure a second term in office.

Her closest rival Mohammed Mwalimu Mwahima, son of the late Likoni MP Masoud Mwahima came second with 10,238 votes.

Mwahima was running on a United Democratic Alliance (UDA) party allied to deputy president William Ruto.
