Leads United from Kangemi will now face Team Korogez of Gikomba in the annual offseason football tournament Kothbiro.

The boys from Kangemi beat Dandora all saints 1-0 at the semi finals played at the Kothbiro grounds.

The sole goal from Leads United was scored by Emmanuel Erupe at the 23rd minute.

Efforts by the Saints to equalise were not successful with game ending at 1-0 on the final whistle.

Leads United will now face debutants Team Korogez on Saturday for the finals.

Team Korogez beat Eastleigh South Utd 2-1 on Monday booking their space in the finals.

Kothbiro Chairman Paul Ojenge has described the tournament a success and is still appealing to well-wishers to help them fund the Kothbiro finals which has traditionally attracted hundreds and hundreds of fans.

“We thank God for the great season we have had. We have not had any hitches apart from the financial setbacks. We hope that the country has seen what football is made of and that we will be able to attract sponsors for the finals and even the future,” said Ojenge.

The tournament this year attracted more than 50 teams forcing the organizers to go for playoffs.
