Slain city lawyer Elizabeth Koki was laid to rest on Friday, January 22, 2021, at her parents’ Miti Mingi farm, Nakuru county.
The Nairobi lawyer was found murdered in her Syokimau home two weeks ago.
Her ex-husband Edwin Githinji, spoke during the burial of the lawyer, delivering a heart-wrenching tribute.
”YOU REMAIN MY FRIEND AND COMPANION IN ALL CIRCUMSTANCES. YOU TOOK CARE OF OUR TWO SONS AND FOR THAT, WE CHOOSE NOT TO CRY BUT CELEBRATE YOU AND THANK GOD FOR BLESSING US WITH YOU,” GITHINJI STATED.
He praised Koki lauding her as a great mother who was passionate about her job.
Koki’s parents; David Nzuki and Margaret Kamene were inconsolable praising their daughter as an achiever who brought them so much joy.
”YOUR DETERMINATION IN LIFE AND HIGH ACHIEVER ATTITUDE MADE AS PROUD,” THEY SAID.
A Congolese national Christian Kadima is in custody as the main suspect in the lawyer’s death.
