11 students suffered injuries as a fire razed down Lang’ata High School on Sunday evening. The fire which broke out at around 6pm was successfully put out.
The Lang’ata school dormitory hosts 200 students. Elsewhere, Kenya Red Cross reported that a fire had broken out at Ruiga Girls in Meru County. Two dormitories, a science laboratory and a dining hall were set ablaze.
Fire incidents were also reported at Kijabe High School, Kiambu, Ndani Secondary School in Bomet and Ilani Secondary School in Makueni on Sunday evening.
