KQ appoints new CEO

Kenya Airways has appointed a new CEO to replace out-going chief Mbuvi Ngunze.

The national carrier has appointed Sebastian Mikosz as its new chief executive officer.

The appointment is effective June 1, 2017, the airline’s board chairman Michael Joseph announced on Thursday.

Mr Mikosz has more than 20 years of professional experience in executive management in both public and private sector, including as CEO of ezky.pl, a leading central European online travel agency and LOT Polish Airlines, Mr Joseph noted in a statement.

The new KQ CEO a Polish national.
