A man who uses a wheelchair is full of praise for his wife, who accepted him despite his physical challenge.

The man could not fully express his heartfelt appreciation to the love of his life for being supportive in his time of need.

Elijah Kimani Muiruri shared meeting his wife, Abigail Wambuion social media as he looked for someone to fill his void of love and help his mum, who cared for him.

Single and lonely man finds love

He told TUKO.co.ke he had been involved in a road accident that left him without legs and limbs following surgeries.

“I looked for a lady online because that was the only way since I wasn’t leaving the house. I came across a certain lady. She looked at my profile which I had indicated strongly amputated. She inboxed me and inquired what I meant. I told her my legs were amputated, and I was trying to find strength. She asked me to send her my photo.

I had a clip on my phone; not sure who took it while I was in the hospital, so I sent her the clip and narrated my journey to the point of being amputated. I told her I was single and lonely, so I was looking for a wife,” Kimani shared.

“She took me as I am”

Kimani told his wife, Wambui, to show the picture to her parents, and if they accepted him, they would continue their relationship.

All went well, and they could continue their relationship, despite Kimani being jobless and a wheelchair user.

“I’m so grateful that she took me as I am, and since we started living together, we have never had any misunderstandings. I want to thank her for sticking by my side, it’s not easy to find someone accepting a partner with no limbs and no job,” the father of one said.
