Khaligraph Jones Shows Off His New Maisonette, Some, However, Make Fun Of Its Massive Size

High-flying rapper Khaligraph Jones’ new upcoming house, which he showed off recently, has been met with some ridicule and muted derision from some online quarters for it’s rather ‘unsightly appearance’.

Khaligraph, one of the most decorated and hugely-successful African rappers, has been building the Karen maisonette over the last couple of years and has won many plaudits from fans and contemporaries alike for his industriousness and dedication.

However, despite the monumental achievement, many people online have not failed to notice just how unusually large the house is, with many people pointing out the towering walls, bay windows, massive rooftop area and general size of the entire building which has now been compared to several government structures.

While commenting on an X (formerly Twitter) thread which asked, “Thoughts on Kaligraph Jones’ house?” one user said that the house reminded them of a Level 4 hospital in Kisii County. Another user said that the house looked more like an Amazon warehouse while another compared it to a silo.

Popular X influencer @5people even got a little mean saying, “Ati Khaligraph ameamua kujenga nyumba inakaa Zetech College juu hakuenda campus (laugh emojis)”

On his part, user @keam254 got a little witty writing, “Khaligraph jones badala ya kujenga  nyumba, aliamua kujenga hospitali level 4 ya ku-nurse his sick lines!”

Many people, however, have lauded the publicity-shy rapper for the tremendous step, congratulating him for achieving so much in so little years.

“Mnakuwanga advocates for people doing what they want with their money but Khaligraph akijenga nyumba haitick cool kid boxes ndo mnadraw the line! This is a young man showing young Kenyans how it’s done! And you’re here trying to troll such a success story!” X user @Kabue_Muriithi said.

The ‘Tuma Kitu’ rapper started building his super mansion in February last year.

His wife Georgina Muteti took to social media on February 7, 2022, and posted photos showing workers digging the foundation for their house.

Speaking during an interview in November 2022, Khaligraph said he was building a huge mansion to show his success.

“I show my successes because it’s something that wasn’t shown by guys who were here before us,” Khaligraph said.

“I’m building a home to show other musicians that it’s good to invest because, with this industry, things can change, but if you have a place to call home where you don’t pay rent, it’s safe for the family,” he added.
