Kericho Father Returns Home Drunk, Only to Find His University Son Intoxicated, Ends up Beating Him to Death

In Kipkelion, Kericho County, a father has been apprehended by the police for the alleged fatal beating of his son.

The man, commonly known as ‘Kakamega,’ reportedly accused his fourth-year son, enrolled at Karatina University, of prioritizing alcohol consumption over his studies, leading to a brutal confrontation.

According to Citizen Digital, witnesses detailed how the father, upon returning home, discovered his son inebriated instead of attending university classes.

Expressing his frustration, the father confronted the young man, questioning his failure to return to school.

The father had reportedly sold family assets, including land, to finance his son’s education.

In the heat of the confrontation, the infuriated father grabbed a piece of wood and mercilessly assaulted his son, causing severe injuries.

Distressed calls from the scene prompted nearby residents to intervene, rescuing the battered young man and rushing him to Kericho County Referral Hospital for urgent medical attention.

Tragically, despite efforts to save him, the university student succumbed to his injuries at the hospital.
