Kenya’s Covid-19 positivity rate rises to 12.5pc

    Health Cabinet Secretary Mutahi Kagwe has announced that 467 people have tested positive for Covid-19 from a sample size of 3,728 tested in the last 24 hours. The positivity rate is now at 12.5 percent. 

    In a statement Wednesday, Kagwe said from the cases 362 are Kenyans while 105 are foreigners. 254 are males and 213 females. The youngest is a 1-year-old while the oldest is 88 years old.

    Total confirmed positive cases are now 327,892 and cumulative tests so far conducted are 3,710,673.
