Kenyan Singer Nyota Ndogo Expresses Concerns Over Newborn’s Appearance with Her Mzungu Husband

Over the weekend, renowned Kenyan singer Mwanaisha Abdalla, popularly known as Nyota Ndogo, announced the birth of her third child.

Sharing the joyous news with her fans, Nyota Ndogo posted a picture of the newborn on her social media pages, referring to the baby as her successor.

However, the singer expressed concerns about the baby’s appearance, claiming that the child does not resemble their other parent.

“Welcome home, my child, but this skin color tells me I didn’t contribute; it seems you’ve decided to take your father’s hair and our skin color, welcome Abdalla. (WE HAVE INHERITANCE),” she wrote.

The newborn of the 43-year-old musician is her first child with her Caucasian husband, Mr. Henning Neilsen.

Nyota Ndogo announced her pregnancy, which would be her third child, early last September using a photo that showed her holding her protruding belly.

Later, the mother of three revealed that her husband, Henning Neilsen, had warned her against discussing her pregnancy with the media or outsiders.

The 42-year-old artist, who currently runs her restaurant in Voi, stated that she was only allowed to talk about herself and her music and not her pregnancy until she gives birth.

“Thank you for your congratulations, but the media, please forgive me; my husband doesn’t want to see me on any radio or TV station or even at the police discussing my condition. So, if I give an interview, it will only be about me and my music and not my pregnancy, or I won’t give any until I give birth,” Nyota Ndogo said.

Later that month, Nyota Ndogo revealed that her Caucasian husband had bought her a piece of land worth three million shillings, where she plans to build a bigger hotel than the one she currently runs.

“I have seen many messages about my hotel, saying that I am still in a small place, but this is not your status. Some even compare me to others like Shishi @esha.s.buheti, who are the people I look up to and follow their footsteps. But it’s been six years now at the hotel, and I have no rush to do anything or put pressure on myself because others are doing well. I go with time, and time is the key,” Nyota Ndogo said.

The singer of the hit song “Watu Na Viatu” has two other children.
