Kenei was the Head of Security at the DP’s Harambee Annex office in Nairobi until his death when his body was found at his house in Imara Daima, Nairobi County, on February 20 with a gunshot wound on the head shortly after the fake Sh40 Billion fake arms scandal was unearthed.
During the funeral service for the deceased held on Friday in Nairobi, Kenei’s fiancéé Alice Chesang broke down after seeing the casket.

The couple that had two children was to be married in August before death struck. It was so sad to lose such a young man, gallant soldier, committed to his country with dedication and commitment.
