Isuzu EA today hosted a flag-off ceremony marking the delivery of the first batch of 95 vehicles to the National Police Service (NPS), under Phase VII of the ongoing government vehicle leasing programme. This move affirms the company’s long-standing partnership with the Government of Kenya in strengthening national security and mobility.

The ceremony, held at the Isuzu EA plant, was officiated in the presence of senior government officials, including the Principal Administrative Secretary, National Treasury, the Deputy Inspector General of Police, as well as representatives from program partners Rentco and Equity Bank, who support the financing and implementation of the lease framework.

The vehicles flagged off comprise 66 units of the Isuzu TFS 87 Double Cabin (DC) and 29 units of the Isuzu TFS 87 Single Cabin (SC), with a total cost of KSh600 million. Speaking during the ceremony, Rita  Kavashe, Chair of the Board and Managing Director at Isuzu East Africa said: “Today’s flag-off represents more than the delivery of vehicles; it reflects our shared commitment to national service, public safety, and long-term partnership with the Government of Kenya.
