Known for her chart-topping hits like “Milkshake” and “Caught Out There,” Kelis found herself captivated by the lush greenery, rolling mountains, and the overall charm of the tea farm.
In a TikTok video that has garnered attention across social media platforms, Kelis expressed her admiration for the tea farm and even revealed a potential interest in acquiring land in this picturesque region.
She painted a vivid picture of the breathtaking scenery, describing the expansive tea plantations that stretch as far as the eye can see.
“This is a tea farm that we are looking to purchase. It is so green, so large, with beautiful mountains surrounding it. From here, we can see five mountains, and on a clear day, even Mount Kilimanjaro. It’s amazing, all naturally irrigated from the mountain with spring water. We are looking at 200 acres. This is stunning. It is quiet,” she said.
The focal point of Kelis’s visit seemed to be the Kiambethu Tea Farm, renowned for its hidden beauty situated at an impressive altitude of 7000 feet above sea level. From this vantage point, visitors, including Kelis, are treated to awe-inspiring views of Mount Kilimanjaro and the Ngong hills, creating a backdrop of unparalleled natural splendor.
