A man identified as Nelson Mamanda has talked about his experience serving Satan.
The 26-year-old father of one in an interview with Chipukeezy on Ebru TV narrated how he was initiated into a cult by a woman he met on his way to fetch water.

I WAS INITIATED IN A CULT KNOWN AS CHININGA WHEN IN CLASS SIX. THE CULT HAD 110 PEOPLE.

He noted that it all started with the company he kept in the past.
His friends were into women and the party life and since their parents would never give them money for such frivolity, they resorted to stealing household items.
So how did he decide to turn to witchcraft?
“SOME OF OUR FRIENDS WERE BEATEN UP IN THE PROCESS AND THAT IS WHEN WE GOT INTO DRUG BUSINESS WHICH WAS CLOSELY LINKED WITH DEVIL WORSHIPING. SO TOGETHER WITH ELEVEN OF MY FRIENDS I JOINED A GROUP CALLED ‘BADUZ’ WHICH MEANS ‘TWELVE FOLLOWERS’ WHERE WE GOT INTO THE DRUG DEALING BUSINESS WHERE WE WERE TASKED TO CARRY OUT SMALL MISSIONS IN A BID TO EARN A LUXURIOUS LIFE.
“In there, there was a price to pay depending on the kind of lifestyle you wanted to lead, For example, I had always admired a big car and a big house wanted to help people since I used to live in the streets.
I WAS TOLD IN ORDER TO GAIN ALL THAT FIRST CONDITION WOULD BE; I FIND A WIFE BUT AFTER EVERY EIGHT MONTHS, OF PREGNANCY, SHE WOULD MISCARRY FOR A PERIOD OF FIVE YEARS AND THAT MEANT THAT EVERY MISCARRIAGE BROUGHT WITH IT A DIFFERENT TREASURE.
Here is how they lure you,
- When an individual is accused of being involved in Illuminati and constantly give you free things, they are returning to the gods who gave them.
- They give people help and people give their life. When you go to visit a person who has lost hope they look up to you as their last resort.
The helpless person views you as a god, unknowingly. To a point when they thank you for helping them, they also praise you like they would a mortal being. This praise and worship create energy that goes directly to the gods who helped the said artiste prosper.
MAMANDA SAID, “THE GODS BECOME HAPPY BECAUSE of THEIR INTENTION OF HAVING MANY PEOPLE PRAISE THEM HAS BEEN ACHIEVED.”
The artists will continue ‘blessing’ you with gifts and free stuff like food and hand out so that in return you will continue telling other people about them and unknowingly recruit more people.
HE ADDED, “IF YOU WANT TO BE FAMOUS, COMMANDING PEOPLE’S ATTENTION WHEREVER YOU GO, YOU ONLY HAVE TO DO ONE THING. SELL YOUR SOUL TO THE DEVIL.”

I WAS ON MY WAY TO A RIVER TO FETCH WATER AFTER SCHOOL WHEN I MET THIS MOTHER WHO INTRODUCED ME TO THE CULT. SHE WAS DRESSED IN A WHITE GOWN, CARRYING A POT ON HER HEAD, SHE GREETED ME AND TOLD ME ‘WEWE NI WETU.’ FROM THAT MOMENT, THINGS CHANGED. I COULDN’T FEEL MYSELF AS NELSON. IT WAS ME YES BUT IT WAS LIKE WE WERE TWO IN ONE.
Adding:
“I WENT BACK HOME BUT THE SAME NIGHT, I LEFT, I NEVER SLEPT AT HOME. I FOUND MYSELF IN THE SAME PLACE I HAD MET THE LADY WHO GREETED ME. I STILL REMEMBER THAT DAY LIKE TODAY.”
He further explained what used to happen at the shrine, saying it was not different from what we see in Nigerian movies.
AT THE SHRINE, THEY WOULD SLAUGHTER CALVES AND CHICKEN AND OTHER YOUNG KIDS AND WOULD TAKE IT TO THE SNAKE. WE DID THIS UNTIL I REACHED CLASS EIGHT. I WAS BLINDED BY THE CULT AND AT ONE POINT, I EVEN SLEPT WITH ONE OF MY TEACHERS. I WAS USED TO DESTRUCTING CHURCHES. I WOULD GO TO CHURCH AND MAKE SURE LADIES BACKSLIDE.
He was later asked to give a sacrifice.
He revealed after offering the sacrifice, you become a full member (a beast).
