The Harambee Starlets, Kenya’s senior women’s national football team, is set to play an international friendly match against Albania on April 11, 2023, in Tirana.

This will be the first international engagement for the Starlets in over a year after the Football Kenya Federation (FKF) was suspended by the world football governing body FIFA.

Despite the long break from international matches, the Starlets will face a tough challenge as Albania is ranked 78 places above Kenya in the FIFA Women’s rankings. However, the team is expected to put up a good fight and showcase the progress they have made during their training and preparation.

The Starlets will report to camp on March 30, 2023, to prepare for the match against Albania. The team will have a few days to prepare before leaving for Albania on April 8, 2023.
