Gunmen have attacked Deputy President William Ruto’s home in Sugoi, Turbo constituency, Uasin Gishu County.
The armed attackers are said to have forced their way into the home shortly before 1pm on Saturday.
A series of gunshots could be heard inside the home at around 2pm and continued occasionally until 3pm.
A dozen of elite officers from the General Service Unit Recce Squad arrived at around 2.45pm and have taken over the operation to fight the attackers.
