Earlier this week, more than 50 Mediamax employees were laid off, with Jalang’o being one of the big names to face the ax.
However, while many celebrities came out to comfort those that got laid off, Kapsaret member of parliament, Oscar Sudi had other ideas.
Speaking to the seasoned comedian and journalist on his Bonga na Jalas YouTube page, Oscar congratulated Jalang’o for being sacked.
He said not being employed will help Jalang’o think and work hard.
In fact, he said that he had faith that his YouTube channel will soon grow into a TV station.
”I am happy they fired you,” Sudi said.
He added,
”You know, now you will progress, now you will think and work hard unlike when you were employed by someone else. And within no time you will even have your own TV station,” Sudi added.
Among other journalists who lost their jobs include, Betty Kyallo, Tony Kwalanda, and Fred Indimuli.
