FKF Meets PL Clubs Bosses Ahead Of New Season

FKF President Nick Mwendwa met with FKF Premier League club chairmen and CEOs today, on Friday, the eve of the 2023/24 season kick-off.

During the session, FKF President Nick Mwendwa provided clubs with an overview of what to anticipate in the upcoming campaign.

It included discussions on league matters such as fixtures scheduling, referee assignments, venues, club licenses, and sponsorship, among other aspects crucial for ensuring the smooth operation of the league.

“Meeting with the clubs is a standard procedure we do ahead of every season, and today we discussed matters related to the organization of the league, including fixtures, officiating, venues, club licenses, and sponsorship, among others,” Mwendwa said.

The league is set to kick off on Saturday with eight matches scheduled for opening day.

Defending champions Gor Mahia will begin their title defense against Sofapaka at Kasarani Stadium, while last season’s runners-up, Tusker, will face Bandari FC away.
