A family in Nyayo Estate, Nairobi, is reeling from shock after finding the skeleton of their missing son lying hidden above their home’s ceiling.

The skeleton belongs to 22-year-old Peter Njagi Munyi who went missing in August 2014.

According to the dead boy’s mother Lucy Kina Munyi, the skeleton was discovered by her nephew who had climbed to the ceiling to check their water tank.

He saw a pair of shoes and on taking a closer look, he saw his cousin’s skeleton. The family immediately called the police who took pulled the skeleton down took it to City Mortuary for identification and further investigations on the possible cause of death.
