“We are still building and documenting, hoping to have finished in January; it’s a project that can really be draining,” DJ Mo told Nairobi News.
The dedicated father of two disclosed that they have already invested over Sh23 million in the endeavor.
Elaborating on the extended timeline for unveiling their masterpiece, DJ Mo explained,
“It’s our family palace, so we have to take time and customize it to our standards. We shall also import some of the fittings. When we launch the house… the story will be different [from what you are seeing now]. We give God the glory [for how far we have gotten with the project].”
While the construction materials and components are carefully imported and customized to meet their exacting standards, DJ Mo remains confident that the result will be a true reflection of their vision.
Asked about the estimated total cost of the project, he confirmed that their expenditures thus far have amounted to Sh23 million, with an anticipated completion budget of Sh48 million.
The mansion will boast six bedrooms, a dedicated prayer room, a state-of-the-art home theatre, and a professional recording studio.
During the interview, DJ Mo hinted at additional extraordinary features that remain undisclosed for the time being.
“Just normal amenities – but we have four amenities and features we don’t want to mention for now till we achieve them,” DJ Mo remarked.
DJ Mo highlighted their aspiration to own the finest dwelling by anyone within the East African entertainment industry.
“When it comes to artists/industry, we want it to be the best in East Africa… We trust in the God of excellence… Again, we are the Murayas,” he declared with unwavering confidence.
