William Ruto has been declared as the President elect after trouncing his closest rival Raila Odinga of Azimio la Umoja coalition. According to IEBC chairman Wafula Chebukati, Ruto garnered 7,176,141 votes representing 50.49% of the total votes cast while Raila managed 6,942,930 votes, representing 48.85%.
