Daniel Simiyufinished second during the men’s 10,000m race final at the ongoing commonwealth Games in Birmigham,UK.

Simiyu who briefly took charge of the race,charging to the front with 1500m to go before dropping back clocked a personal best of 27.11.26.

Jacob Kiplimo helped Uganda retain the 25 lap race at the club games aftet coming home the fastest in a new commonwealth games record of 27.09:19.
