Construction of the Multi-billion shillings Taita Taivate exports processing Zone is expected to start later this year. The Zone set on 240 acres of land is expected to spur industrialization in the Coastal County. Taita Taveta County governor Granton Samboja has said the government will construct vertical infrastructure before opening the zone to local and international investors.
