The Director of Meteorological Services Dr. David Gikungu is asking Kenyans living in the Highlands East of the Rift Valley including Nairobi to brace for extremely low temperatures as the cold weather season reaches its peak in July.
Dr. Gikungu in a statement noted that on some days the maximum or daytime temperatures may fall below 18 degrees Celsius while the minimum or night time temperatures may fall to below 10 degrees Celsius.
