Through this expansion, customers will have access to over 800 restaurants currently on the Bolt Food platform. These include Java, Chicken Inn, ArtCaffe, The Wine Company amongst others.

“We are excited to be expanding our territory and providing our customers with great choice and quality services through our Bolt Food platform. The delivery service industry has experienced exponential growth, especially with curfew regulations. Since our launch in March 2021, Bolt Food has revolutionized the food delivery sector by offering quality services at competitive prices. It also grows its restaurants based on the platform through continuous onboarding and leveraging its networks and partnerships.

Bolt Food currently has electric motorbikes, e-tuk-tuks, and e-bicycles being used by couriers on its platform and is leading the race for greener food deliveries in the food industry. The initiative is geared toward reducing Bolt’s environmental footprints and fulfilling the demand for light, intelligent and green modes of transport. It also eliminates the challenges associated with constantly fluctuating fuel prices which currently form the highest operating cost for drivers and couriers.

Great customer experiences at affordable costs,” added Edgar K Kitur, Country Manager, Bolt Food.
