Tanzanian crooner Ben Pol has a new girlfriend- a mzungu.
The singer introduced her while in an interview but refrained from revealing details about her.
He argued that he needed time to officially introduce her to his online inlaws.
The mzungu sat behind Ben Pol (see below) in the Wasafi studios, shyly smiling as he urged her to say hello on the microphone.
He was asked by the presenters if he had ditched dating East African babes.
He laughed as he spoke about dating internationally.
Acting coy about the question, Ben Pol said “Okay mi nafikiri kwasababu ya kwa heshima ya Wasafi I will bring her on a separate day. Yes, I will bring her on another day please,”.
Asked to confirm if the mzungu babe is his new girlfriend, Ben licked his lips “Nitamleta, atakuja kujieleleza.”
The presenters not satisfied with Ben Pols’ response, asked the mzungu bae if they were dating.
She smiled as well “I wish you would come here and we talk a little bit, please you say just hi” the presenters tried to convince her.
“There’s gonna be a special day for you and this come say hi,” Ben tells the mzungu as she is called to approach the microphone and address the nation.
She reveals her name is Helena, from Germany.
Ben Pol interrupted the conversation indicating he wanted it to end.
“Okay, that’s enough.” he appreciated comments about her beauty.
Ben Pol joins a list of Tanzanian male artistes who have or are dating mzungus.
