Faustine Lipuku Lukale, popularly known as Baba Talisha on the TikTok platform, has suffered a setback after losing his TikTok account.
This comes shortly after celebrating reaching one million followers on the short video platform.
Confirming the unfortunate news on his Instagram page, Baba Talisha posted a screenshot of his TikTok account with one million followers, indicating that it had been banned.
“Life goes on,” Baba Talisha wrote on the post.
In a recent Interview,he claimed that certain individuals did not take kindly to his achievements of hitting a million followers and subsequently reported his account for violating TikTok’s guidelines. Despite this setback, he expressed his intention to appeal the decision.
“It was reported overnight. Initially, there were seven violations, but five have been restored, with two remaining, both related to comments. TikTok has contacted me regarding the verification process, but unfortunately, I was unable to complete it yesterday. I have attempted to appeal the ban, but it appears that the decision stands,” he explained.
Before losing his account, Baba Talisha had celebrated reaching the one million followers milestone after several months on the platform.
He had also managed to garner over 42 million likes on all his TikTok videos. His official TikTok profile proudly displayed the figure 1.0 million, confirming his influence on the platform.
He had been conducting numerous live streams, attracting a large audience.
His presence on TikTok surged when his friend, TikToker Brian Chira, was living with him. The two entertained online audiences through their live shows and received numerous gifts from their fans.
Later, when Chira passed away, Baba Talisha urged Kenyans to contribute to his funeral. Generous-hearted individuals donated over Ksh. 8 million through him to give Chira a meaningful send-off.
