Another walkover looming ahead of NSL weekend matches.

National Super League side, Kisumu All Stars is currently facing a series of challenges as financial difficulties continue to plague their operations.

The club recently announced on their Facebook page that they have been forced to hand out their second walkover of the season, this time against Mwatate United at the Wundayi Stadium in Taita Taveta.

While the exact reasons behind their decision not to honor the fixture have not been disclosed, it is evident that the club’s financial struggles have played a significant role.

Kisumu All Stars has been transparent about their financial woes and has actively sought support from fans, stakeholders, and well-wishers to help alleviate their situation.

In the past, they introduced an online payment method to raise funds for travel and logistics costs, and they have also appealed for financial assistance for other expenses, such as fuel.

Kisumu All Stars currently find themselves in 10th place with 32 points, a considerable 18 points behind third-placed Migori Youth. Additionally, they have been unable to secure any points in their last four fixtures.
