Animal feeds manufacturers want the government to extend the yellow maize import indefinitely as shortage of raw materials continues to bite. Association of Kenya Feed Manufactures Secretary General Martin Kinoti says the logistics involved to import white maize and market uncertainties means the expensive animal feed in Kenya is unlikely to ease any time soon.
