An angry woman destroyed the windows of her husband’s car after finding him with another woman in Migori town on Tuesday.
Mrs. Joyce Kandie had gone to Kenya Power officer Peter Murunga’s house at Aroso estate to seek his help as their baby was sick. When she arrived, she found him with another woman and proceeded to smash the car’s windows in anger.
Kandie said Murunga absconded his responsibilities in November 2015 when he started living with the other woman identified as Susan Roki.
“I have tried to have him take his six-month-old child to hospital without success. As you can see the boy is suffering from skin rashes and diarrhoea,” she said.
She further claimed the man had often attacked her and left her with a broken tooth.
Kandie tried to access the house but Murunga and Roki got out and attacked her attracting a mob.
The mob smashed window panes, further damaged Murunga’s car and threatened to burn the lovers.
Police arrested Kandie, Murunga and Roki and took them to Migori police station pending investigations.
