Madam Boss, popularly known as Akothee, has recently tied the knot with her Swiss husband, Denis Schweizer, in a grand ceremony attended by top politicians, businessmen, media personalities, and influencers.
However, the flamboyant singer has called out some celebrities who failed to show up for her big day after confirming their attendance.
In a live session on Sunday, Akothee unwrapped the gifts she received from her lavish wedding and took the opportunity to slam the no-show celebrities.
She expressed her disappointment and stated that if anyone planned to miss her event or wedding they had already confirmed, they should send the equivalent of one person’s money.
Akothee made it clear that their absence was unacceptable, as they had already accepted the invitation and confirmed their attendance.
Notable media personalities who missed the wedding were Willis Raburu, Nameless and Wahu Mathenge, and DJ Mo and Size 8 Reborn.
Most of them took to their social media platforms to explain why they could not attend. Citizen TV journalist Willis Raburu apologized to Akothee and explained that he was engaged elsewhere.
DJ Mo clarified that they were also invited but had prior engagements. Wahu could not attend the wedding as her young baby was unwell.
Akothee also took the opportunity to set the record straight about her husband’s business. She revealed that Denis is a farmer who focuses more on food importation, and that they farm in Holland.
She emphasized that being rich doesn’t necessarily mean being in business but can also mean being a farmer.
In the live session, Akothee promised her husband that she would be a faithful wife and affirmed that she dated one man at a time and didn’t allow flirting when she was in a relationship.
