Renowned singer and businesswoman Akothee has recently disclosed details about her unsuccessful marriage to her Swiss ex-husband Denis Schweizer, also known as Omosh.
Omosh and Akothee tied the knot in a lavish ceremony attended by prominent figures, including Raila Odinga’s wife Mama Ida. Despite the high-profile nature of their wedding, the marriage turned out to be short-lived.
Akothee publicly announced their breakup a few months later, leaving many people astonished. Akothee now reveals that she later discovered Omosh’s girlfriend had taken her own life in 2019, a fact unknown to her during their relationship.
Upon confronting him, Omosh denied responsibility, placing blame on the women he had been involved with in the past. Akothee further asserts that Omosh was deceptive.
Her eldest daughter, Vesha, had previously warned her about Omosh being delusional, but she ignored the red flags. Additionally, she later found out that Omosh was dealing with bipolar disorder.
“Vesha told me mum, your guy is delusional,” Akothee revealed. Omosh would reporteldy manipulate her but she continued loving him, despite her kids warning her.
He was easily agitated, and upon confronting him, he disclosed that he was on medicine for bipolar disorder. Their separation was a result of this confession.
She had depression following the breakup. She would go days without eating or sleeping, which made her need to attend counseling sessions.

Eventually, she ended her relationship with Omosh months after their extravagant wedding. Akothee is still privately navigating the healing process after the painful heartbreak.
