Eric Omondi was recently the topic of conversation after a video taken by a girl said to be Hamisa Mobetto surfaced online.
The video showcases the girl in a white robe secretly filming a sleeping Omondi.
The former Churchill comedian has now come out to address claims that it was Hamisa in his bed.
“I’m surprised that people think the lady is Hamisa. Though I cannot reveal her name, I wish to clarify that the lady is not Hamisa Mobetto,” he told E Daily before adding “As you can see in the video, I was asleep, so I couldn’t precisely know that she was taking a video. But, to be honest, it’s just a simple video that doesn’t prove anything.”
Breakup with Chantal
This video has surfaced about a month after Eric Omondi and Chantal ended their four-year courtship with Instagram posts.
“It has been four and a half years since we started out. Since we seem not to be making any progress. First of all, Chantal is young and I consider myself a bit old. I feel like I have been a stumbling block for her as my career has been progressing yet, as she committed to making this work, hers has been stagnating. She has been ensuring that my brand works but what am I doing for her? It is a long-distance relationship because her family lives in Italy and she only comes here for like six months to visit me. I am not growing any younger.
