NCBA Bank Kenya today celebrated the graduation of 24 entrepreneurs from the 2025 cohort of the Strathmore Business School Enterprise Development Programme, reinforcing its commitment to accelerating SME growth across the country. The programme, which equips business owners with practical skills to scale sustainably, remains a key pillar in NCBA’s broader SME support ecosystem.

Key highlights from the graduation event:
• Twenty-four NCBA SME customers from manufacturing, agribusiness, retail, logistics, construction and professional services completed the 16-week leadership and business growth programme.
• Group Director Retail Banking, Dennis Njau, reaffirmed NCBA’s commitment to walking the growth journey with SMEs, noting that “when entrepreneurs grow, the country grows”.
• The programme has supported more than 300 entrepreneurs to date, delivering measurable improvements in resilience, leadership and strategy execution.
• NCBA continues to unlock credit access for SMEs through strategic partnerships with the Africa Guarantee Fund, AFAWA, Water.Org and Proparco, supporting women-led businesses, climate resilience and water and sanitation financing.
• Participants benefited from coaching in financial management, operations, marketing, innovation, leadership and digital transformation, alongside networking and peer learning.
• NCBA and Strathmore Business School continue to collaborate through the Entrepreneurship Development and Innovation Centre, offering programmes such as OMP, boot camps, expos and industry forums.
