Nairobi, October 15, 2025 — The Pan-African Agency Network (PAAN) has announced plans to host the Africa Borderless Creative Economy Summit 2026 from April 21 to 22, 2026, at the Sarit Expo Centre in Nairobi, Kenya. The event will bring together Africa’s leading voices in creativity, media, and technology for a continental dialogue on shaping the future of the creative economy.
The first-of-its-kind summit will unite professionals, investors, corporates, freelancers, and innovators from across Africa to explore new opportunities and collaborations in the creative and technology sectors. Organizers expect more than 500 in-person delegates and over 2,000 virtual participants to take part in the two-day event.
Hosted by PAAN, the gathering will focus on breaking silos, driving innovation, and building regional partnerships across marketing, communications, media, production, and technology industries.
“Africa’s creative industries are entering a new era — where ideas, data, and technology intersect to power growth,” said Duncan Njue, Partnerships Director at PAAN. “The summit is our chance to connect these forces and accelerate the transformation of the continent’s creative and marketing landscape.”
The Africa Borderless Creative Economy Summit will feature keynote sessions, interactive workshops, exhibitions, and deal rooms linking brands, agencies, and investors. It will also provide multi-lingual participation to ensure inclusivity and accessibility for attendees from Africa’s diverse markets.
To expand its reach beyond Nairobi, the summit will include a digital event platform connecting participants virtually from across Africa and beyond. This hybrid format underscores PAAN’s commitment to creating a borderless and connected creative economy.
Registration for both in-person and virtual tickets is now open, with early-bird discounts available for a limited period. Organizations, sponsors, and brands interested in exhibiting or partnering can explore participation packages through [www.paan.africa/summit](http://www.paan.africa/summit).
Adding to the summit’s momentum, PAAN will also introduce the inaugural Africa Creative Excellence Awards (ACEA) — a celebration of creativity and innovation across the continent’s communication and media industries. The awards will recognize outstanding achievements in advertising, PR, design, storytelling, production, and digital innovation. Entries are open to agencies, brands, and freelancers through [https://paan.africa/paan-awards](https://paan.africa/paan-awards).
The upcoming summit forms a major part of PAAN’s broader mission to transform Africa’s fragmented creative landscape into a unified, globally influential ecosystem. Since its establishment, PAAN has grown a network of more than 200 agencies and thousands of freelancers across over 20 African countries, fostering professional growth, collaboration, and inclusive development.
By hosting the Africa Borderless Creative Economy Summit 2026, PAAN is creating a powerful platform for shared ideas and partnerships while shaping the blueprint for Africa’s creative future.
