Tanzanian model and entrepreneur Hamisa Mobetto has confirmed that she is now single following her breakup with Kevin Sowax. In a recent interview, Mobetto revealed that the couple’s decision to part ways was mutual and largely influenced by circumstances beyond their control, including the challenge of maintaining a long-distance relationship.
“Yule tuliachana. Hakukuwa kuna sababu maalum. But he’s a very nice guy,” Hamisa shared, translating to there was no significant reason for their split but emphasized Sowax’s good character. She further assured her fans that there is no animosity between them, stating that the breakup was amicable.
Speculations about a potential breakup began earlier this year when observant fans noticed that Kevin Sowax had deleted all of Hamisa Mobetto’s photos from his social media accounts. This move sparked rumors that the couple might be facing issues.
The couple’s relationship had been under the public eye since its inception. Hamisa first introduced Sowax to her followers when he gifted her a luxurious Range Rover. At that time, she publicly expressed her gratitude and affection for him, saying, “Yani kuna wanaume…alafu kuna mwanaume wangu mimi hapa. Thank you, baby…I literally wanna cry. Thank you for showing me what true love is. You have been nothing but the best thing that has ever happened to me.”
She further added, “Nakupenda weeh, roho yangu weee. Kwako sijiwezi…ohh mai Laaaavuuuu.”
Kevin Sowax also shared his feelings about their relationship, professing his love and excitement for their future together. “From the moment I saw you, I knew you were the one. The more I get to know you, the stronger my feelings grow. I’m grateful to have you in my life and excited for the future experiences.”
Despite the initial excitement and declarations of love, Hamisa Mobetto acknowledged that not all relationships go according to plan. She mentioned feeling like she had found ‘the one’ in Sowax, but ultimately, the challenges they faced, particularly the issue of distance, led to their decision to separate.
