Wiper Party leader Kalonzo Musyoka has re-ignited the debate on who should be chosen as the flag-bearer of the opposition outfit NASA.
This is after the former president said that ODM leader Raila Odinga should not contest for the presidency and should instead sacrifice his ambitions just as other opposition leaders have sacrificed.
“My brother Raila Odinga knows too well the rich sacrifices some of us have been making for him in the past and it’s time he reciprocated,” Kalonzo said.
Mr Kalonzo was speaking in Riosiri, South Mugirango, during his two-day tour of Kisii County. Kalonzo  made his first trip to Kisii after their maiden NASA rally in Bomet on Saturday. Speaking at various shopping centres in Kisii County, Kalonzo said he had talked to other Nasa leaders to allow him become the alliance’s flag bearer.
He added that he has been patient enough and would not wish to play second fiddle to any leader facing it off with President Uhuru Kenyatta in the coming elections.
