CORD leader Raila Odinga has called for fresh demonstrations and accused Jubilee of frustrating the quest for a ‘free and fair election’.

Mr. Odinga led his Cord co-principals Kalonzo Musyoka and Moses Wetangula in calling for the protests against the amended electoral laws that were passed by parliament on Thursday.

The demonstrations will be held on January 4 next year. Mr. Odinga called on Kenyans to support the demonstrations, saying that President Uhuru was frustrating justice.

“This is a legal coup. The Jubilee coalition has decided to deny Kenyans free and fair elections just the way it happened in Burundi,” said Mr Odinga.

Odinga further accused Deputy President William Ruto of being behind the scheme that saw the laws amended and changed.
