William Ruto has been declared the duly elected President of Kenya by the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC).
IEBC Chairperson Wafula Chebukati made the announcement Monday evening at the Bomas of Kenya.
While announcing the results, Chebukati said that William Ruto fulfilled the Constitutional requirement after garnering 7, 176, 141 representing 50.49 pc of the total votes and getting 25 pc in 39 counties.
