Court reinstates Kipipiri chief Wangari Methu

Reports reaching Newsday Kenya indicate that Kipipiri Chief Wangari Methu has been reinstated as the area chief by the Nakuru High Court.

This comes after Ms. Methu received an interdiction letter from Nyandarua County Commissioner Samuel Kimiti .

Nyandarua County Women Rep Wanjiku Muhia has been widely accused of sabotaging the chief. She was also accused of causing Ms. Methu’s suspension.

In July, Ms. Muhia had written a complaint letter to the County Commissioner and copied it to the Director of Criminal Investigations Ndegwa Muhoro and National Cohesion and Integration Commission chairman Francis ole Kaparo complaining that Ms. Methu was engaging in politics.
