Chelsea are willing to offer Loic Remy plus £65million for Romelu Lukaku.
Everton accept the Belgium international wants to leave Goodison Park but have been holding out for £75m for the 23-year-old who still has three years on his contract.
Remy was a target for Everton director of football Steve Walsh in January while at Leicester though the Frenchman’s fitness record may come under question.

Chelsea sold Lukaku in 2014 for £28m but are now keen to bring him back to the club

He was then loaned to Newcastle, where he struck 14 times in 26 Premier League games and convinced Chelsea to part with £10.5million for his services in August 2014, with Arsenal also interested.
Since moving to Stamford Bridge he’s struggled to secure a regular role, making just nine league starts, with the club now prepared to use him as bait in a deal to bring Lukaku back to Chelsea.
Everton have been exploring alternatives in the market after refusing to pay out for Graziano Pelle and Marko Arnautovic while they have cooled on the idea of signing Wilfried Bony in a similar swap proposal from Manchester City for John Stones.
