Five gangsters were gunned down by police in Kiambu on Friday.
According to Kiambu Count Commander James Mugera, the five armed thugs had been trailed by police from Nairobi’s CBD area. Once police caught up with them, they were asked to stop but instead opted to engage the police in gun battle. The police responded by firing back and killing all of them.
The police recovered a pistol, a revolver, five rounds of ammunition and several items used to break into houses from the thugs gunned down in Kiambu.
