Senior Director of Communications at President’s Delivery Unit, Nixon Ng’ang’a, celebrated his birthday on September 24, with the love of his life Naisiae Tobiko who also happens to be Environment CS Keriako Tobiko’s sibling.
She posted a photo showing Ng’ang’a embracing her on her Facebook and showered him with praises and kind wishes.
“When the Heavens conspired to fulfill its purposes and intentions, it caused our paths to cross. Happy birthday to this my bestie, my boyfriend, my Soulmate, my Special Someone and my husband Nganga Nixon.
“I celebrate you today like I do every day (only that today I shout it out loud). You’re God’s gift to me and I pray that this be your best year yet. Happy birthday my Thuku,” she posted.
The two worked together at the IEBC when where they were both managers.
Nixon is from Embu County, is a graduate of Media and Mass Communication from the University of Leeds.
He is a seasoned journalist who started out as a reporter for Nation Media Group.
He moved on to Standard Media where he became a senior reporter before transitioning to Constituencies Development Fund Board as a communications officer.
His career led him to the position of senior communications officer at the Rural Electrification Authority and then a voter education manager at the IEBC.
Ng’ang’a made his way back to the media when he joined Citizen TV as a managing editor.
It was from Royal Media that he was appointed to the plum job at the President’s Delivery Unit.
