Nairobi, 14 August 2026 – The Nairobi Hospital today hosted the 2026 Children’s Charity Heart Fund Golf Tournament at Karen Country Club, bringing together corporate partners, sponsors, golfers, philanthropists and members of the public in support of life saving cardiac care for children from disadvantaged backgrounds. The lannual fundraiser mobilised resources for children diagnosed with congenital and acquired heart conditions who need specialised cardiac treatment but cannot afford the cost of care.

initiative that unites the corporate community, healthcare partners and well-wishers around a shared purpose: giving vulnerable children a second chance at life through access to quality cardiac healthcare.
“Every child who comes to us for heart surgery has usually run out of time and money before they reach our door. This tournament exists to close that gap. Every fee, sponsorship and prize contributed today converts directly into theatre time, diagnostics and the specialist care these children need, and we are grateful to every partner who keeps showing up for them,” said Mr. Felix Osano, Chief Executive Officer, The Nairobi Hospital.

The tournament strengthens partnerships with corporate organisations, development partners, sponsors and individual donors, expanding access to specialised paediatric cardiac services and improving outcomes for children living with heart disease.
The Hospital extended its appreciation to all sponsors, golfers, partners, volunteers and supporters, whose generosity has enabled the Children’s Charity Heart Fund to provide free, life saving heart surgery to more than 400 children over the years.
“A hospital is measured by how it treats those least able to pay, and the Children’s Charity Heart Fund is where that principle is tested every year.
