Newsline Media and Training Agency has launched a new online attachment application portal aimed at making it easier for university and college students across Kenya to apply for industrial attachment opportunities in Media, Information Technology, Public Relations and other emerging digital fields.

The new platform DUBBED newslinemedia.co.ke allows applicants to complete the entire application process online by submitting their personal details, academic information and supporting documents without the need to visit the agency’s offices physically.

Students can also select their preferred area of specialization and indicate their availability for attachment through the digital platform, which has been designed to simplify and speed up the recruitment process.

The launch forms part of the agency’s broader digital transformation strategy aimed at expanding access to practical, industry-based training and equipping students with hands-on experience before entering the job market.

Speaking during the launch, Newsline Media and Training Agency Managing Director Faith Mukundi said the online portal reflects the agency’s commitment to leveraging technology to make industrial attachment opportunities more accessible to students from all parts of the country.

“We understand that many students face lengthy application processes and incur costs travelling to submit documents physically. Our online portal removes these barriers by enabling applicants to complete the entire process from anywhere in Kenya,” she said.

Mukundi noted that the platform will also improve communication between the agency and applicants by facilitating faster processing of applications and timely updates on placement opportunities.

She added that as demand for practical skills continues to grow, the agency is investing in digital solutions that enhance the student experience and bridge the gap between academic learning and industry needs.

The online application system supports placements in more than 16 professional disciplines including Journalism, Public Relations, Film Production, Graphic Design, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Networking, Web Development, Mobile Development, Photography, Animation and Video Editing.

The agency expects the portal to streamline recruitment processes while expanding access to practical workplace training opportunities for students across the country.

Students interested in joining the programme can submit their applications online, upload their CVs and supporting documents, and select their preferred attachment category through the agency’s newly launched digital application portal.
