Kalito Way Group (KWG) is advancing the Burudani Kingdom experience across its hospitality brands—Samaki Samaki, Kuku Kuku, and Wavuvi Kempu—through a strategic collaboration with Visa, a global leader in digital payments.

This collaboration integrates digital payment solutions at the core of dining and entertainment, leveraging Visa’s global expertise in digital payments to enhance customer engagement.

The rollout integrates card payment education and on-site activations across the group’s venues, supporting how customers dine, socialise and pay. Visa is supporting the initiative by enabling secure and seamless card acceptance across multiple consumer touchpoints.

As part of the broader Burudani Kingdom calendar, Visa will also feature during the upcoming Hello Jua event at Wavuvi Kempu on Friday, 24 April 2026, bringing together entertainment, dining and digital payments in a live consumer setting.

Chad Pollock, Vice President and General Manager for East Africa at Visa, said:

“Hospitality venues play an important role in shaping everyday consumer behaviour. By supporting Kalito Way Group’s vision for Burudani Kingdom, we are helping make card payments a natural part of social and lifestyle experiences, where convenience and ease matter most.”

I&M Bank limited has signed a strategic agreement with Visa Inc. (NYSE: V)

Victor Makere, Country Manager, Tanzania at Visa, added:

“This initiative reflects how payments work best when they are embedded into real experiences. By enabling card acceptance across popular dining and entertainment venues, we are supporting merchants while giving consumers more choice in how they pay.”

Carlos Bastos Mella, founder of Kalito Way Group noted that Burudani Kingdom is designed to bring together food, culture and entertainment while responding to evolving customer expectations.

“Our focus is on creating vibrant, memorable experiences across our brands. Integrating digital payments into Burudani Kingdom allows us to make the customer journey smoother while engaging our audiences in relevant and meaningful ways,”

The initiative underscores Kalito Way Group’s ongoing commitment to innovation across its venues, while supporting the continued shift towards digital payments within Tanzania’s hospitality and lifestyle sector.
