TikTok removes over 580,000 videos in Kenya in Q3 2025 enforcement push

    TikTok has released its Q3 2025 Community Guidelines Enforcement Report, showcasing its ongoing commitment to creating a safe digital space for its users. The report, which covers data from July to September 2025, details the proactive steps TikTok has taken to identify and remove content that violates its Community Guidelines, ensuring a positive experience for its global community.

    In the third quarter of 2025, TikTok removed more than 580,000 videos in Kenya for violating its Community Guidelines. Of these, 99.7% of them were proactively removed before anyone reported them, and 94.6% removed within 24 hours of posting. Additionally, the third quarter of 2025 saw around 90,000 Live sessions interrupted for not following platform content guidelines representing 1% of LIVE streams in this time.

    Globally, TikTok removed a total of 204,534,932 videos during Q3 2025,  representing about 0.7% of all content uploaded to the platform. Of this content, 99.3% was proactively removed before being reported, while 94.8% was removed within 24 hours. This is one of the highest rates ever recorded by TikTok for rapid content removal. Through our continued investment in AI moderation technologies, a record 91% of this violative content is now removed via automated technologies, ensuring consistency and speed. To protect TikTok’s integrity this quarter, the platform has removed more than 118 million fake accounts. In addition, we removed more than 22 million accounts that were suspected to be under the age of 13.
