The Hub Karen Awards KShs. 1 Million and Premium Travel Experiences in Grand Finale of ‘Shop & Win’ Campaign
Nairobi, February 13, 2026-The Hub Karen today officially crowned the winners of its highly successful “Shop & Win” campaign, awarding a grand prize of KShs. 1 million alongside premium local and international travel experiences in a celebratory event held at the mall.
The campaign, conceptualised and executed by The Hub Karen as part of its December festive season customer appreciation drive, culminated in a Betting Control and Licensing Board of Kenya (BCLB) supervised draw on 28th January following its closure on 12th January. It was designed to reward everyday shopping while strengthening The Hub Karen’s position as a leading lifestyle and retail destination in Nairobi. By shopping across participating outlets within the mall, customers earned entries into the draw, transforming routine purchases into opportunities for significant wins.
Walking away with the grand prize of KShs. 1 million was Vennah Kwamboka, marking one of the most substantial shopper reward payouts by a retail destination this season. Keziah Kogi was announced as the second prize winner, receiving a fully sponsored trip to Cape Town featuring return economy tickets courtesy of Kenya Airways and accommodation facilitated by The Hub Karen, Benjamin Omolo secured the third prize, a two-night full-board weekend getaway at the Fairmont Mount Kenya Safari Club.
Speaking during the winners’ announcement, The Hub Karen Mall Manager, Mr. Jacobus Visser, said the initiative reflects the mall’s commitment to delivering value beyond retail.
