The Government of Kenya will host the 25th East African Community (EAC) Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSME) Trade Fair from 7th to 16th November 2025 at Uhuru Gardens, Nairobi. Themed “25 Years of EAC Integration: Advancing Innovation and Regional Value Chains for Competitive MSMEs Towards Sustainable Development,” this event celebrates a quarter-century of regional integration and entrepreneurship.
The Trade Fair will showcase over 3,000 exhibitors from the eight EAC Partner States—Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Rwanda, Burundi, South Sudan, the Democratic Republic of Congo, and Somalia. These exhibitors will present their innovation, culture, and enterprise from across the region.
This year marks the Silver Jubilee Edition of the fair, a significant milestone since its inaugural event in Arusha, Tanzania, in 1999, after signing the Treaty for the Establishment of the East African Community. The fair has since evolved into the region’s largest marketplace for artisans, innovators, and entrepreneurs.
Cabinet Secretary for Investments, Trade and Industry Hon. Wycliffe Oparanya praised the announcement. He emphasized that hosting the Silver Jubilee Edition reinforces Kenya’s role in promoting regional trade and integration.

“This year’s Trade Fair is not just about celebrating 25 years of EAC cooperation; it is a strong declaration of our dedication to creating a competitive, innovative, and inclusive regional economy,” said CS Oparanya. “MSMEs are crucial to our economies, and through this platform, we intend to open new opportunities for them to expand beyond borders.”
The fair will include a ministerial roundtable with the International Trade Centre (ITC), which will launch its new regional office in Nairobi. This further positions Kenya as a hub for continental trade.
Kenya warmly welcomes all EAC partners and visitors to Nairobi for this landmark event, promoting innovation, partnership, and shared prosperity across East Africa.
